Many months of writing, reflecting (and wrestling with my editing tools lol) went into this — and I’m really glad and proud that it’s all come together, and that I didn’t shelve this away (as tempting as that was). 🖤🕯️
With ‘Neptune’, my initial intention was simply to make an EP inspired by my favourite planet. However I realised that I had so much more to say — complex feelings and words that have taken residence for far too long in my heart. Emotions that needed to come out over time — a scary yet ultimately cathartic experience. This zine are reflective ‘diary entries’ of sorts of this whole journey – Neptune, Oculus & Psamathe — all handwritten and taken straight from my sketchbook. Spilling my guts. Head above water. From my heart to yours.
Huge thank you to Lazy Thinking Records (especially Jim!) and Carbon8 for helping me present my work (and its many detailed pages haha) in the best way possible. A lot of time and effort went into this and I’m really grateful!! Each booklet is printed on Mohawk Via Linen paper, with sovereign offset internals, oversewn exposed spine, hand sewn with beautiful mid blue nylon thread 🧵
As always, another big thank you to the beautiful Hyun Lee for the photos :’)
Also I want to give big love to everyone who has been so kind to me about — well — everything. I haven’t stood still yet to process it all yet, but all I know is that I feel a lot of warmth. And it’s such a lovely feeling. So thank you ~

This EP is the last of my ‘Neptune’ trilogy — out on the 18th of Nov. All tracks across the whole thing — written, produced, mixed & mastered (I tried my best haha!!) by me. Recorded in my room, bathroom, on the T3 line and on my walks home. Released via Lazy Thinking Records.
It’s named after the furthest moon from Neptune — and it’s a love letter to my earth angels, this world and myself.

I remember us being so excited over this shot because it felt 🎥cinematic🎥 and it was drenched in that beautiful blue. I have fond memories of this time — I remember being nervous as always, but that slowly washing away because of Hyun. As I type this, I remember us after the shoot — eating some really nice Viet food together (hehe), and chatting about how cool we thought Chloé Zhao was. Special times ~
